The food was AMAZING!! Friendly staff, too. My husband and I will definitely be returning here to try everything else on the menu! I usually don’t leave reviews, but this place deserves it!

Great Service. The daily specials are the way to go. Top three dishes, in my opinion are Texan burger, merelia chicken, and the shrimp and tenders.

I stopped at the Red Balloon Cafe while on a trip to drop off my vehicle next door. I didn't want to go too far, and this seemed like a great option.I was pleasantly surprised to see that you actually got what you paid for - unlike the big restaurant chains and other eateries that you might expect to stop at. If you're traveling along I-10 and you're looking for breakfast, this is a fantastic choice.I had the Western omelet, with a side of hashbrowns and a glass of water. The omelet filled the plate, with little room to leave for hashbrowns. I was willing to trade off, but I was so hungry when I showed up that I cleaned the plate.This is a family owned and operated business, and therefore they have earned a lot of respect from me. As a frequent visitor of the Houston area from Kansas, I am most certainly going to make this one of my go-tos for a morning meal.

It's a cute mom and pop comfort food restaurant. I think it mostly serves all the workers in the immediate area. Not bad at all but probably not something you will drive across town for.

Truthfully the food was actually a disappointment. You would think it was good but it wasn't. The chicken fried steak had no flavor, which tells me the flour used wasn't seasoned. The meat was sooo tough it was like chewing on leather. The gravy had a taste of milk which was odd. The hash browns had like Pam buttered flavor that was extremely strong. The eggs were fully cooked and was not medium as requested. The service was actually a highlight as being greeted by a smiling face is expected but this was a warm greeting. If the food was a bit better I would consider coming backThe prices was on the higher end about 20 dollars per plate.
